Our Mission

This publication has been created to:

find and present
the beauty of life
to our distinguished readers

The name Confide publications has been chosen because it represents trust.

Trust for the subjects who are being interviewed because they know that their life and work will be presented with the most accurate and positive light possible.

Trust for the writers who will evolve in an environment that is inspiring and fulfilling.

Trust for the readers who will find quality writing, as they discover beauty and skill.

We value the readers, writers and subjects of our articles equally.

This publication is about sharing moments, experiences, encounters that make us enjoy and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.  It can be simple meals or walks in nature, travel, discoveries, interviewing artists, artisans, and sharing these conversations.

We have great respect for words and languages.  A choice of words illustrates history, culture, experience, and state of mind.  It brings richness and an additional dimension to the story.  Thus, we keep the texts in the language that the interviews were conducted in, so as not to lose anything in translation and bring the atmosphere of the conversation itself to our readers.

As for the confusion brought about by misinterpretation between languages, we are dedicating an entire page to it “the polyglot anecdote” to feature all the humor that it brings, your short anecdotes or pictures are also welcome through the contact page.

This site is in four languages, French, Italian, German and English.  It has been created as such not only for those who speak all four, but rather to include everyone who speaks any of these languages.

Articles in general are too short to show the entire truth.  Often, in order to optimize sales, the choice is made to highlight shocking, upsetting, or negative content.  We do not ignore contemporary news, but we offer a counterpoint to them.  Thus, we shine a light on the beauty that surrounds us, the skills of craftsmen and artists, and within our descriptions and interviews, we include ways to appreciate their work. As for the negative, we intentionally leave it out of the spotlight, even within the context of resilience.

We neither accept nor publish anything polemic, hateful, illegal, immoral or discriminatory in any way, nor inciting to any of the above.  This is not a site about religion.

We wish you a pleasant reading,
